About our clubnights

We have been running events in London since 2002, having successfully programmed and promoted hundreds of packed events in over 30 different venues.

Venues include: KOKO, the Forum, the Scala, Astoria 2, 93 Feet East, Bloomsbury Ballroom, Bar Music Hall, 333 Club, Catch, Ditch, Queen Of Hoxton, Hidden, 229, Hub, V&A Museum, Eve Club, Thirteen, Push, Infinity, Asylum, the Fly, Bar Vinyl, Radius, Tattershall Castle, Battersea Barge, the Garage, Buffalo Bar, Millennium Club, Purple Turtle, the Key and Turnmills.

Buttoned Down Disco

Buttoned Down Disco is our biggest clubnight, taking place once a month at the prestigious KOKO in Camden. In fact, Buttoned Down Disco is one of the biggest club nights in London and certainly the largest indie dance party around.

We keep the atmosphere extra special by making the parties invitation only, keeping the music lovers in and the less desirable trade out. Since 2002, Buttoned Down Disco has been enjoyed by tens of thousands of people and has been featured in the Times, the Guardian, Metro and the Independent.

Shake, Rattle & Bowl

Shake, Rattle & Bowl is London's premier retro clubnight taking place every Saturday at All Star Lanes, Holborn. We supply DJs and theme the night around vintage rock 'n' roll, northern soul, motown, psych, beat and ska to keep the crowd dancing all night.

All Star Lanes, is an unusual venue that incorporates bowling, dancing and a diner. Since launching in 2006, we have been featured in all the major national press.

Buttoned Down Liveshow

Buttoned Down Liveshow is a spin-off from Buttoned Down Disco and showcases up and coming talent as well as more established acts. We have so far presented a wide variety of live acts, including Goose, Man Like Me, Dragonette, Shlomo, They Came From The Stars, I Saw Them and Gaggle.

Venues used vary from show to show and nowadays we will typically hold one or two liveshows each year and have a different theme to each of them. If you are in a band and wish to enquire about playing a show for us, get in touch.

Cover to Cover

Christian Laing started Cover to Cover with Guilty Pleasures' main man, Sean Rowley, as a concept centred around a monthly clubnight playing nothing but cover versions. There is a blog where you can follow their latest finds.

Although having only started in late 2009, Cover to Cover has already had a photo feature in TimeOut, DJed at the Q Awards after party and put on some very special guests. This is truly the start of something amazing - so watch this space!

Dead Man's Boots

Dead Man's Boots began when Christian bought 1,400 dusty old vinyl singles from a DJ who had passed away. We decided to bring the old boy's records back to life by playing them just one more time before giving them out to the audience. Money was raised for Help The Aged from the entrance fee and even auctioning the odd record.

Dead Man's Boots impressed TimeOut's editor Dave Swindells so much he allowed us to write a whole page feature for the magazine, telling the amazing story of how the dead man's boots were filled!
