Welcome to Dolly Power
Dolly Power Ltd was formed in January 2007 as a way of summarising our work in running club nights, web design, print design and involvement in music. This site gives you an introduction to our work as well as a comprehensive portfolio of our designs.
Design

One of our sites, buttoneddowndisco.com is a good example of how an initially small website expanded over time to become one of London's biggest and most stylish club websites! A recently completed shoe retail website rohanclarke.com shows how we can bring custom made shoeware to life with an effective online ordering facility, and in fact within 12 hours of the website being live Rohan received his first order! On the corporate side, Rachel was the Global Head of Web Development at IQPC until December 2006, whose site, iqpc.com started life in 1999 as a basic one pager, and now boasts in excess of 100,000 pages and is an established market leader.
We have extensive experience in print design, including promotional material such as club flyers, logos and posters.
Clubs
There are three main clubnights that we run, each of which takes place in London. Buttoned Down Disco has been running invite-only secret location parties for the past five years, stopping in such prestigious venues as KOKO, Eve Club, 93 Feet East, The Key, Bloomsbury Ballroom and even the V&A Museum! Having already gained a huge following and masses of press attention from the likes of TimeOut, The Guardian, The Times, Metro and Evening Standard, Buttoned Down Disco is an excellent example of a scene that couldn't have exsisted without a brilliant website. People request invites via an online form and then receive email invites which they print to bring with them on the night - easy!
Buttoned Down Liveshow showcases new music and live bands once a month at 93 Feet East, and has showcased artists as diverse as human beatboxer Shlomo to neu-Krautrock heroes They Came From The Stars, I Saw Them.
We also run the monthly Shake, Rattle and Bowl at Bloomsbury Bowling, digging deep for obscure 6t's garage, motown, rock and roll and soul! This night also combines Bowling, Dancing, Karaoke, Diner, Cinema and Pool!
Music
We've been surrounded by good music for as long as we can remember, and we take great pleasure in sharing our music taste with so many people, via the means of DJing, putting on live bands, or people listening to our online mixes. Resident DJ Dollyrocker, aka Chris Laing, plays all night sets at most of our clubnights. Chris has also produced his own remixes and original music.
